Video Manual. Publishing

Publishing is the processing of generating static data. It means that if you change something in the Content (using Website Editor) or in the Product Information Management - then it is only changed in the database. To make it visible on your page - you have to publish this data.

There are three types of publishing:
- you can publish a selected page
- you can publish a selected page with all subpages
- you can publish a whole website (all pages)

There are three types of publishing since they differ in publishing time. If you only made a small change on one page - it's better to publish this page only. If you made more changes in the i.e. News section of your page - then it's good to publish the selected page with all subpages. If you made changes in PIM, more changes in the pages or a change in the order of menus - it's better to publish the whole website.

As soon as you remove some pages or make them offline, they will not be visible on your website (on condition you have published them beforehand). You can revert all changes and make them visible again by changing the status from offline to online and publishing them afterwards.
